1. Our Handcrafted Jewellery
At Deendayal Soni and Sons Jewellers, our jewellery is individually crafted using traditional techniques and skilled craftsmanship. Our collections include Kundan Meena, Jadau, Polki, gold jewellery and customised ornaments made to order.
Because handmade jewellery is individually produced, minor variations in engraving, enamel work, finishing, stone placement, colour appearance and other handcrafted details may occur. Natural gemstones may also vary in colour, tone, inclusions, shape and appearance.
Such variations are not necessarily defects and do not automatically mean that the jewellery is different from the agreed design.
However, handmade craftsmanship does not excuse a manufacturing defect, a materially incorrect product, a false representation or a failure to meet agreed specifications.
2. No Returns or Exchanges for Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or exchanges merely because a customer changes their mind, dislikes a personal preference previously approved, no longer requires the item, or finds a similar product elsewhere at a lower price.
This policy applies to ready-to-ship and customised jewellery, subject to the specific terms communicated for the product and applicable law.
For made-to-order jewellery, this includes items manufactured according to customer-approved designs, measurements, materials, gemstone choices, colours, finishes or other personal specifications.
Please review the design, measurements, materials, price and other order details carefully before confirming your purchase.
This policy does not exclude any return, replacement, repair or refund that is required under applicable law.
3. Handmade Variations and Product Photographs
Every handcrafted ornament has its own individual characteristics. Minor differences between product photographs, design illustrations, CAD renderings and the finished handmade item may occur because of the production techniques and materials used.
Photographs and videos are intended to represent the product and communicate its principal design features. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, they do not guarantee that every individual handmade detail will be identical.
For customised replicas or reproductions, the expected degree of resemblance should be discussed and agreed upon before production.
Natural gemstones and Polki may have individual characteristics. The actual product will be assessed against the material, quality and specifications represented and agreed for the order.
Material differences from the approved design or agreed specifications will not be dismissed as ordinary handmade variations.
4. Customer Approval Before Manufacturing
For custom orders, customers should carefully review the approved design, dimensions, metal purity, gemstone specifications, enamel colours, finish, quotation, estimated manufacturing time and other relevant details.
Approval may be documented through an order form, email, WhatsApp conversation or another written communication identifying the relevant order and specifications.
Once production has commenced, changes may require additional materials, labour, time and cost. We will communicate material changes and obtain approval for additional charges where required before proceeding.
Customer approval helps establish the agreed requirements for the order, but does not waive legal rights relating to defects, misrepresentation or failure to meet those requirements.
5. Order Cancellation
Before manufacturing begins
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel an order.
We will assess the request according to the stage of the order, materials already procured, supplier commitments, work undertaken and applicable law.
Where cancellation is accepted, any deduction from the advance must be lawful, reasonable, properly supportable and consistent with the terms applicable to the order. Any refundable balance will be returned within the applicable legal timeframe.
After procurement or manufacturing begins
Custom orders may involve specially sourced gold, Polki, diamonds, gemstones, design development, casting, stone setting, enamelling, engraving and other specialised work.
Cancellation may therefore be restricted once procurement or manufacturing has commenced. Each request will be assessed individually according to the actual costs incurred, the stage of production, the possibility of recovering costs and applicable law.
An advance payment will not automatically be treated as entirely refundable or entirely forfeited in every circumstance.
Completed or dispatched orders
Completed or dispatched custom orders cannot be cancelled merely because the customer changes their mind, subject to applicable law and any expressly agreed terms.
This restriction does not remove remedies required by law for qualifying product defects, incorrect items, material misdescription or other legally recognised circumstances.
6. Advance Payments and Specially Sourced Materials
Some orders require an advance payment to initiate production, procure precious materials or reserve manufacturing capacity.
The advance amount, remaining balance and any special procurement terms will be communicated before the order is confirmed.
Advance payments are adjusted against the agreed order price. The treatment of any advance following cancellation will depend on the applicable terms, actual circumstances and law.
Where we are unable to fulfil an order or a refund is otherwise legally required, we will address the matter in accordance with applicable requirements.
7. Gold Rates and Pricing
Gold rates and gemstone prices may change between quotation, procurement, manufacturing and completion.
The applicable pricing method must be communicated and agreed before the order is accepted. Depending on the order, the quotation may specify a fixed price, a reference gold rate, a rate applicable at an identified stage, or another clearly explained calculation method.
Where the agreed terms specify a gold rate applicable on the date the jewellery is completed, that method will be applied consistently with the disclosed quotation.
No additional amount will be charged solely on the basis of an undisclosed pricing condition. Material changes to the agreed scope or price will be communicated for approval where required.
Customers may request an invoice containing the particulars required by applicable law.
8. Problems With Your Order
Although we do not accept ordinary change-of-mind returns, we encourage customers to contact us if they experience any problem with their jewellery.
Please contact us if:
- You receive an incorrect item.
- You believe the jewellery has a manufacturing defect.
- The product materially differs from the agreed design or specifications.
- There is a discrepancy concerning a represented material or metal purity.
- Your shipment arrives damaged or an item is missing.
Please provide your order or invoice number, clear photographs or videos, and a description of the concern.
We may request a reasonable inspection or appropriate testing where necessary to assess the issue.
After reviewing the circumstances, we will work towards an appropriate resolution in accordance with the agreed specifications and applicable law. Depending on the situation, this may include repair, correction, replacement, refund or another appropriate remedy.
9. Alterations, Repairs and Damage
If you believe that your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, please contact us before arranging third-party repairs, resizing, stone resetting, polishing, soldering or enamel restoration.
Unauthorised alterations, third-party repairs, accidental damage, misuse and normal wear and tear may affect our ability to determine the cause of a problem or assess a voluntary repair request.
Each case will be assessed on its merits. Nothing in this section removes statutory rights that remain applicable.
10. Return Authorisation
Please contact us before sending any jewellery back. Unauthorised parcels may be difficult to identify and process.
If a return is approved or required by law, we will provide instructions concerning the authorised address, packaging, shipping method and relevant documentation.
Jewellery should be packed securely and sent using an appropriate traceable service. Customers should retain tracking details and proof of shipment.
Shipping costs for a confirmed product issue will be handled according to applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
11. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved or legally required, we will communicate the applicable amount and payment method.
Refunds will generally be made through the original payment method where feasible and lawful, or through another mutually agreed and legally permissible method.
Processing may depend on banking systems or payment providers, but refunds will not be delayed beyond a mandatory legal deadline.
Store credit or an exchange will not be imposed where applicable law requires a refund.
12. Buy-Back and Exchange
Buy-back is a separate transaction and is not an automatic return or refund of the original purchase price.
Where we offer a buy-back arrangement, its percentage, valuation method, deductions, eligibility and other conditions will be communicated for the relevant transaction.
Any advertised or agreed buy-back arrangement is subject to its disclosed terms and applicable law.
13. Contact and Complaints
We value long-term customer relationships and aim to handle genuine concerns fairly and professionally.

14. Policy Interpretation

If any provision conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, that legal requirement will prevail to the extent of the conflict.
We may update this policy for future orders in accordance with applicable law.
